Saturday 13 March - SXSW / General Update!

Just a quick update before we pack our bags and head over to SXSW! We've got a last-minute show in London at Camden Dingwalls on Monday 15th March supporting Alberta Cross, so come down and bid us farewell if you're around in London town.

We also feature in Lail Arad's mixtape on the Q website - check it out here.

Our SXSW gigs and times are listed in the gigs section on the right, so hopefully see you there if you're enjoying the musical treats out in Austin, Texas. Here's a feature from Spinner Music to get you in the mood.

Sunday 17 January 2010 - News Update! SXSW, Clash, Bandstand Busking

We're working off the turkey and stuffing, and our paunches are shrinking nicely; we're also waking up from our musical hibernation. The big news is that we've been accepted to go and play at SXSW in March! Austin here we come! More information to follow as and when we have it.

Equally fantastic news is that Clash magazine have named us one of their top 20 Ones To Watch 2010 - here's a preview but make sure to check out the latest magazine to see the full feature.

Finally, head over to Bandstand Busking to see our set of acoustic songs that we recorded in summer 2009. The set consisted of Is It All Worth It?, It's About Time You Leave, Rose Is In The Yard and New York Rain. Here's Rose Is In The Yard for your audiovisual pleasure:

Sunday 13 December 2009 - Christmas Shows

Following a busy week of gigs at Notting Hill Arts Club, Brixton Windmill, The Luminaire and The Barfly - we've got one more show before Christmas at The Albion on Sunday 20th December. This is our Christmas party so come down for a good old Christmas boogie.

That's all the shows for the time being. We've been doing some recording and in the new year we plan to be working on the album and conquer some new land. So watch this space! If you have any enquiries or just wanna say hi please feel free to drop us a line.

A couple of California based bands we're really digging right now are Chief and Dawes. Can't say enough about these two bands. Really soulful, honest rootsy music. We urge you all to check them both out.

That's all for now. Peace and love.
